12 Month Stuff

Before i forget all the things she is doing, here's a snippet of stuff about Soren at 12 months (since she'll be 13 months in 2 days).

• Still? A horrible sleeper. What gives? I'm listening to you scream your guts out while i'm typing this. NAP ALREADY!
• You give the greatest hugs. Big, fantastic neck squeezes, especially when we get you up from, say, a nap. You are also a back-patter and seem to comfort yourself when patting our backs. 
• You blow kisses and even make the smacking sound.
• You are walking--gave up crawling a few weeks ago. We wanted to get the new walking steps on video but we were in Utah and didn't bring the camcorder.
• You seem to know how to get down steps now. Phew!
• You love to wrestle with your Dad and brothers
• You say, "Hi-eee!" and make the inflection for "Thank you." You sign "more" "milk" and wave hello and goodbye.
• Your favorite toys are my cellphone (supposedly off-limits), the home phone (you've successfully called Aunt Erin on it recently) and the remote control to the TV. You seem to like your baby and give her hugs and love. You also like the boys Legos and are very good at spitting things out on command.
